27 OH GOODY!!!!!

So yesterday was yet another birthday. Is it just me or do they come faster as you get older? Well this year was great to say the least because my husband finally took some time off (sort of) and planned a wonderful weekend escape to a Bed & Breakfast in downtown Savannah. We dropped Lil Man at his Grammie's and headed south yesterday afternoon. We got in late yesterday evening and had a wonderful dinner downtown with my stepdad Paul, his wife Kris, and their daughter Ally. Afterwards Joey and I set out walking through the beautiful squares around our B&B and found a nice little coffee house where we each ate the biggest piece of cake ever. I mean I absolutely HAD to have cake on my birthday right? And boy did I have cake!!!! This thing was the size of a softball easily and it had 6....I repeat 6 layers of ooey gooey chocolate goodness. YIPEE HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!! CHOCOLATE OVERLOAD!!!!

The B&B we are at is so nice. The best part...the fireplaces turn on my a switch on the wall. I thought that was so cool. Joey was rolling laughing last night because that just made my night. I mean honestly can I get that installed at my house in Newnan?

Overall it has been a great start to the weekend and a great birthday! We are about to go get in line and get a reservation time to do lunch at Paula Deen's restaurant "The Lady and Sons!" I have always always always wanted to get to eat there.

Ella Grace Update

So today was another appointment with the doctor and everything seems to be going well. Of course I say "seems" because I am not all to thrilled with the level of care I have been given during this pregnancy in comparison to what I received with Ethan. If there is even the slightest thing wrong with my daughter when she arrives I swear I will sue the pants off this doctor. After all the complaining I have done about being unusally sore you would think he would step up and take notice. Anyway according to "Doctor Fabulous" she is doing well and I am too fat....and yes that is almost what he said directly but he attempted to poorly sugar coat it slightly. Less than 12 weeks to go...YIPEE!!!!
